Christmas Day

Christmas Day for us is a time to enjoy family and the season of giving. Our children had a wonderful Christmas morning and my son even stated that he had the best Christmas ever. When he was asked why, he told us that he got everything that he wanted. The biggest downfall of today, was the fact that my children were wisked away at the demand of the wicked witch of the west. My wife’s mother, who never wants to see me, told my wife that she is to bring them down on Christmas day. I┬ápolitely┬ásaid “she wants to take my kids away from me on Christmas day?” Once my wife said this to her mother, she told my wife that “SHE SHOULD HAVE NEVER GOTTEN THAT CALL! MY WIFE IS SUPPOSE TO JUST DO WHAT SHE IS TOLD!” Really? Just the year before my mother-in-law said that SHE wasn’t able to leave HER son alone on Christmas. Seriously? I have to suffer because she is a bitch? Pardon my language, but this topic really irritates me more then I let my wife know. My kids left around 11:00am and came back around 3:30pm. Maybe I am being selfish. There is more to the story with my mother-in-law, but I will save that for another day.

#P90X Day 26

I missed another workout. I don’t feel bad though. I’m sore from doing Core work 2 days ago and I spent the night with the family watching some T.V. and having the kids fall asleep on me. I wouldn’t trade that for the world. They are so excited that Christmas is only a few days away and I wanted to spend some time with them. My workout will still be there tomorrow.

#P90X Day 25

It turned 8:00 pm tonight and I was getting ready to skip my workout. Then, I realize that skipping my workout is just another excuse and THAT is not an option. KenpoX was on the agenda tonight and I worked a hard as I could and brought it strong! I kept my heart rate up for a majority of the workout to help take care of that donut I snuck in today. I am really starting to worry now, too. I may need a new belt soon. I seem to be on the last hole and I am going to have to spend some money to replace it with a smaller one. I know, it’s a great problem to have, but to be able to do that during the holidays is even better.

#P90X Day 24

I am back at it today and completed Core Synergistic’s. I fell off the train for a few days but I’m back on it now. My diet has certainly been off track as well. My normal breakfast of fruit and oatmeal was postponed until I bought more. I was a little lazy and didn’t feel like going out to get some. Lunch, however, has been pretty decent. Salad and plenty of water. I unfortunately have been drinking way too much diet soda again. I have another vacation next week and plan to cut out caffeine, again, before back to work for the new year. I should probably weigh myself at some point, but I am not concerned about my weight since it will fluctuate when I lose fat and gain muscle.

Ok, I admit. I have been neglecting my workouts…..and my blog, but I am still focus on the end prize. My clothes are getting looser, my energy level is up when I get enough sleep, and I miss my workouts. Finding time is defiantly a hard thing to do, but enough with the excuses. Tonight’s workout is Core Synergistics. Time to bring it!

Website change

I decided to register a personal domain name today. Since it was on sale for $1.18 for the year, I couldn’t pass it up. I will be creating my own WordPress theme in the coming weeks and transfer this site to the new one. I will love to have feedback the design and layout of my own theme.

#P90X Day 17

I did about half of Shoulder, Biceps & Triceps today. The pain in my shoulder and elbow was intolerable so I did what I could and left it at that. Thankfully this is it for arms for about 2 weeks since next week is recovery week. This will help them rest up.
I still need to figure out a inexpensive diet plan to follow. My biggest problem is my dislike for many vegetables. I would certainly not do well as a vegetarian. I will just have to find different ways to mask the taste and suck it up.
