My new schedule is waking up at 6:00 am to get my workout in. With all of the times that I have started, never completed, workout routines I have found that getting it done in the morning helps energize me throughout the day. This may not be the best for everyone, but it helps me and leaves my nights open for family time and school work. I am also attempting to watch my calorie intake by using the iPhone app called myfitnesspal. It allows me to track what I am eating and the workouts that I do. A heart rate monitor is a MUST if you want to get the most out of your workout and to also make sure that you are not overdoing it. I had to stop a few times this morning since I was pushing myself too hard.
